Birth Charts:
What is a reading like?
Every reading is done through phone call with a provided number. The calls are recorded and sent to you after our session, along with your birth chart. This way you can re-listen to our conversation later on and also review your chart. If you would prefer to meet over Zoom instead that is a possibility; However, phone calls are usually better. Once we get on our call, we will go through your chart step by step and dialogue together as we move through different sections. Readings are 30-45 minutes long. Although you will receive a substantial amount of information, we don't necessarily want to go over the allotted time or the information may not be as digestible. Keep in mind that follow-up readings are also popular as clients often want to do some further digging into their charts, and/or check in on the current transits in the sky influencing their lives.
What is a birth chart?
A birth chart is essentially a photo of the sky exactly when you were born. It is unique to every single individual. In a chart, all of the zodiac signs are present which are just star constellations with specific energies, as well as all of the planets including the sun and the moon. Every planet has a different energy as well. The locations of the planets, the signs, and the lines all over your chart create the energy that makes you, you. It is your cosmic blueprint on paper. The lines on the chart tell us your karma, life challenges, and gifts- different colors and line lengths mean different things. Long story short, as your Astrologer I am here to interpret all of the confusing chart stuff for you into a way that is easily digestible, practical, and applicable to your own life.
Can I get a birth chart reading for my child?
Yes, I will happy to dig into your child's birth chart together. Although the child won't be a part of the discussion on how the energies show up in their own lives, I am still able to give you some insight and things to look out for. Keep in mind that if your child is young, some traits or energies may take some time to show up as they develop. As your Astrologer, I can tell you about their character a bit so you can support their true nature. I can tell you their life lessons and the energy around career so you are aware of how to guide them and the direction they are meant to go in. We can also discuss their own karma and life challenges, gifts in this life, missing element they may need to cultivate, how current transits in the sky are currently/going to influence them, and more.
Can I get a birth chart reading for my partner?
I do not do synastry charts or answer compatibility questions. However, I will be happy to give you a reading where A) We discuss your partner's chart if you are interested in getting to know your partner on a deeper level, and B) Discuss how love shows up in your own chart. If you do have a specific interest in digging into love, be sure to leave your comments in the notes section when booking.
What if I don't have my exact birth time?
I can still give you a reading without your exact birth time; However, it won't be 100% complete because your time of birth is what determines your rising sign and your houses which are important components of the chart.
Tarot:
What is Tarot?
Tarot was originally invented in Italy in the 1430s. At the time it was used as a game, but eventually became a divination tool. The cards are amazing because one deck essentially covers all of life. The cards are connected to the four elements, zodiac signs in astrology, and all of life's possibilities. The mix of cards that come out for your particular spread are the messages you need to know at the moment.
What is a Tarot reading like?
As a reader, I meditate and tap into your energy first, and then I call in your angels, ancestors, and guides asking to bring messages for your greatest and highest good and the greatest and highest good of all involved. I shuffle the cards bringing the energy in, ask about the question or situation we have decided on, and begin to pull cards for you. After I pull tarot cards, I like to pull oracle cards for additional advice. My readings are done either via email or phone calls- both of which are equally as effective
Is Tarot evil or against God?
Absolutely not. That is only a stigma. Tarot is a tool for guidance, clarity, and insight. It brings to light messages you may already know intuitively but need some confirmations to help you along your path. It also tells you what you need to know, not just what you want to hear.
What question CAN'T I ask?
Instead of passive fate based questions (Will I? When will? Should I? Is? Where? Who), I prefer active and choice based questions that give my client more accountability and power in their lives (What? How? Why)... Instead of asking, "Is Bob the one for me?" it's better to ask "What do I need to know about my love life?" or "What can I do to manifest my dream relationship?" ... Instead of asking "When will my business become popular?" it's better to ask "How can I grow my business?" ETC.
Some good questions start with:
"What might I experience if ____"
"What do I need to know about ___"
"How am I in relationship with ___" (ie: Food, my husband, alcohol, etc.)
"What is the healthiest version of ___"
"What can I do to manifest ___"
I do not read directly in regard to third parties for ethical reasons.
Reiki:
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a form of energy healing that has been used for hundreds of years. Originating in Japan, Reiki was passed down from Reiki Masters who taught their students to use specific Japanese words, symbols, and one's hands to act as a channel for Reiki life force energy. Reiki transcends time and space so it can be received from anywhere, and has an immense range of benefits such as healing old wounds and childhood traumas, healing generational curses, relieving bodily ailments, help with anxiety, depression, insomnia, addictions, and more!
What is a session like?
For every session, I will send the client a playlist I curated to listen to- this is to help you get in a meditative/ calm state to receive the reiki. All you have to do is set the intention of being open to receiving the reiki I am sending. I recommend setting a time to receive the reiki such as in a bath, at bedtime, during meditation, etc. Make it sacred for you. You may feel like you want to cry and let some energy out. You may feel hot/cold, tingling sensations. You may have vivid dreams. Everyone responds differently to reiki. It is important to note that reiki keeps working and flowing even after the day it is sent, so you may notice you feel better over time.
How do I know if Reiki is for me?
People who have a nagging feeling that something in their life, body, or mind is out of balance or feel like they are struggling within themselves and/or their environment usually find reiki at the perfect them for them. The fact that you're reading this may be the sign that your body/ mind is ready to heal and experience growth.
